i have classic i/o which has 16ch adat in-out. does pulsar has 16ch AES i/o?
... maybe not .... but again is there any way...

classic has sp/dif.
plus has aes/ebu

the formats are virtually identical, except aes/ebu is balanced +4 and sp/dif is -20 and unbalanced.

it is possible to convert one to the other with a buffer amp:

that was quick reply... ..hey garyb you always tell about master clock.. that will solve switching between adat spdif aes stuffs... is this a good master clock form tc :

no, that's more than a master clock.

rosendahl, lucid and apogee are the main manufacturers of clocks.

you will need a syncplate to use a master clock. the other devices should have bnc clock inputs.

the converter shouldn't make any audio problems as the format between aes/ebu and sp/dif is the same(the info is the same). only the signal level is different(basically). if you want a plus i/o plate, let me know....

i just reread your first post. you want an adat to aes/ebu converter....it's doable.
