A 16

Hello, this week i should receive the A 16,
i would like to know which cables i need in order to connect it to a pulsar 2.
How do i know if i have a z-link or simple adat connection on my pulsar?

If you have a Pulsar2 w/ Classic, Plus, or 24ADAT, then you will need ADAT cables - 4 of them.

If you have a Pulsar2 w/ Zlink IO plate, then get two "Zlink Cable" which is a 6pin to 6pin FireWire IEEE-1394 cable, roughly $10 each. Only "A16 Ultra" - the new release of A16 - has Zlink. Old A16s do not have Zlink.

If you only need to use 8 of the A16 Ultra IOs, then half the number of cables.

the 4 ADAT Lightpipe cables are on the desk already... mhhh...
