Hi,
Can anyone give me an idea what a Pulsar2, SRB (14 DSPs), A16 and an A16 Ultra are worth as I'm thinking of selling.
The Allkeys contains the following:-
# 7LLME080A Effects Package 2
# 7LLME080A Elektra/Modular2
# 7LLME080A STS-3000
# 7LLME080A Main Studiotools Package
# 7LLME080A Effects Package 1
# 7LLME080A Synthesizer Package 1
# 7LLME080A Synthesizer Package 2
# 7LLME080A VolksZämpler SFP
# 7LLME080A STS-2000P
# 7LLME080A Vinco
# 7LLME080A Vintage Compressor
# 7LLME080A Modular 2
# 7LLME080A PSY Q
# 7LLME080A Mixer Package 1
# 7LLME080A Pulsar Software
# 7LLME080A Scope Fusion Platform
# 7LLME080A Pulsar ProPack
# 7LLME080A Pulsar Software
# 7LLME080A Optimaster
# KA077X803 STS-3000
# KA077X803 Luna
# KA077X803 PWSampler
Does anyone know what it's worth?

well as far as i can see from your allkeys file u have one 3DSP card and a 14dsp card, no Pulsar2 (6dsp) but rather a Powersampler/Luna II card (3dsp).
to say what its worth is difficult ( it also sort of depends on where you are geographically), but i would sell these biits as seperate components rather than a package, they are all attractive but to different segments.
as your small card have no special licences, dont expect much. these cards (unfortunately) dont get much attention, allthough they have very good converters and run SFP. maybe around $150 without additional licences. The segment you want to target here is people with soundblasters and other piece-of-creap cards who wants to step into real sound. People who allready used the Scope/SFP enviroment will avoid it as it brings them too little for too much (read: no licences).
then you have 3 pieces left. The 14 dsp card, the A16U and the A16 also attracts a different crowd.
- 14 DSP card; 2 segments. one segment of first time buyers not wanting to fork out the full price to see the potential of the hard/software. these have a tendency of going for the Pulsar 2 card though, so your price must be accomodating below a P2 card to attract customers.
-2nd segment; people with existing Creamware setups who wants more dsp and access to the free SDK (I HOPE SC still sends these out).
Also, take into consideration that your plugins are LESS than what u get with a new 14DSP card. so for this segment the price would still be below a new Pulsar 2.
...And for the A16's sorry I cant contribute much. You probably have the same two segments as the 14 DSP card, and most people will know about the non-ultras bad points as opposed to the Ultra.
Lesson to be learned: have a look around, see what others charge, consider the licences you own and sell the pieces SEPERATLY.
