Looking good - so this platform is dead then is it?

Includes Flexor technology - excellent.

My only concern is with a certain Japanese manufacturer who use the term COSM might provide a hard time - they have been known to.

Cool! My beloved sound system is still alive :)

wow, 12 dsp for 4-6 voices!!! We need a new generation of boards with more o better DSP... :o

I really hope for a new promotional policy: are demos .dev planned for these new toys?
Or, at least, some videos+audio about workhsop...

Thanks guys.
4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

if you didn't announce that today, I maybe wouldn't have had the power to resist to spoil your party, ralf :)

but, huh, 198 EUR isn't exactly a "welcome on board" price tag...

that's something different, imho. and something I would definitely spend some money on if it meets a certain level of expectations.

but maybe my inhibition threshold is just way to high for those 2 new entrants... :)

FANTASTIC!

I'd love to hear some sound examples!!

And yeah, that COSM looks pretty similar to my Nord Lead.. I'm quite interested in what the VOID is.. if it's a good virus simulation I'm sold.

this is good news, although i agree with whoever said these are a bit pricey. you would definatley want a demo before dropping that kinda money.

- as it "includes flexor technology", i presume a flexor licence is neccessary? or is certain modules "licenced" and comes with the purchase?

- Screenshots. i have no clue what these synths ARE, i cant get their signal paths.

- dry and wet mp3s.

gutsy naming of the COSM i must admit. try googling "cosm synth"

good luck, im probarly a customer when i can lure my mails thru the soniccore spam filter.

The flexor components were licensed to the developer and shouldn't require a flexor license when used inside of these synths/devices. Don't take my word as gospel but I recall when those things were being developed and a brief mention from Assaf...

Glad to see they're finally out

"Glad to see they're finally out"

I agree :)

the flexor issue doesn concern me as i own a licence, just wanted to make things clear :)

i still would like a bigger picture of what the synths are capable of tho, with no demo or mp3 available atleast a screenshot would help.

oh and regarding the sonic core spam filter it REALLY should loosen up. hint: configure keywords to slip thru, in example let all mails with subject "device request" thru, and make customers put that sentence in their subject when ordering. filtering all public email adresses is just plain stupid (sorry).

Hello to all,
this is John Amolohitis the developer behind Sur-audio lab. (also known here as fra77).

Well here is my first 2 developments. VOID and COSM.
Well there are a kind of architecture replicate of some hardware synths but they have a lot of unique things.

Some notes: VOID includes Flexor technology. You don't have to own a Flexor licence.

Download the synthesizer manuals to check specifications, soon they will be some demo sounds for checking sound quality.
I 'm sure you 'll love these new scope devices.

More things at Monday cause unluckily i have some job for the weekend.

Best wishes to all

Thanks Ralf, and John,
I am buying COSM immediately, I would buy the bundle but have other obligations w/ DAS, and GaryB for next week.

The manuals are well written but I don't understand what you mean by Flexor technology. Can I use RD II modules, and Flexor modules in the filter and Osc sections?

COSM's ability to morph w/ velocity, and key note is awesome. It's nice to see that live performance features are alive and well. But this synth begs for automation and overdubs 4 recording as well. Sweet.

I will have GaryB send the forms to you Tuesday along with the Hardware serial #. This synth will go on the GS3 DAW, which begs for new drivers BTW, and VOID will go on the 3 x 15 DSP Type II DAW, as it appears to have a larger DSP appetite.

I Anxiously Await New Developements, As Well As The Body Of Ralf,
