I've always known that this platform was as capable as any and that that price was exceptional.

But when its all layed out in front of you like this you start to realise that this is the most intergratable thing you could ask for AND GROWING rapidly!

All I could think of that would be nice would be a dedicated control console. This is the kind of press they need to inspire someone to build it don't you think? Something like what Houston is to cubase?? Motorised faders and all. MMMMMM

Peace

Personally, I'd love it if Creamware became involved with eMagic, sort of how RME is Steinberg's hardware supplier (Nuendo 24/96 cards, AD DA converters, etc). Think of an eMagic A16 Ultra or eMagic Pulsar, and more integration from Logic Control inside Creamware... hmm maybe I'm just dreaming.

Too late for emagic...

Looks like they have snuggled up with TC for DSP support with versions of emagic plugins being coded for the Powercore platform.

Access has also given it's blessing to TC as well.

Nah those are just emagic's plugins on Powercore. I'm talking about a hardware supplier, PowerCore isn't a soundcard, and isn't an integral part of anything eMagic is currently doing. Anyway whatever. If Powercore is good, I'll add one someday.

Although emagic and TC are now working together, Creamware brings something to the table that TC doesn't have...

i/o

emagic seems to be getting out of the hardware business. How else would you explain a company that's targeting the upper mid-range studio (above Cubase & Sonar & DP, below ProTools) having a basic USB-based 2/6 box? This doesn't seem logical to me

Then again, with Core Audio in OS X does it really matter to a Mac user if there's tight coupling between software and hardware? I'd bet there will be plenty of native hardware-enhanced plugins released in the net year or two that will take advantage of this framework.

Hey Guys,

Excuse me if I'm sounding dumb but doesn't Radikal Technologies already have a patch that directly works for Pulsar?

Or since we're dreaming here, something that not only integrates a mixing platform but has a knob bank on the side for every synth and you call up the presets automatically because its USB and has two way communication to know when your working on Inferno vs. STS-4000 and pulsar in version 4.0 has quick key macro screen shot set up integration. Hey wait----I thought there was another place on planet z for this kind of indulgence.

Yes I have investigated this little baby. I can't say I've tried it hands on but I have been told that it is a pretty sketchy thing to use.

IE Great in concept but falls short in practice.

Damn shame cos its the perfect solution in theory but given its price It should operate without flaw wouldn't you think?

Still make up your own mind.

*** most midi remote controllers have midi updating, also the Pc1600x. Just merge all your midi back to Pc1600x, thru off

...to know when your working on Inferno vs. STS-4000 ...

*** does it automatically select it's presets according to Pulsar devices? that's great! how does it do that? Do you have to send midi first from your dsp device?

...and pulsar in version 4.0 has quick key macro screen shot set up integration....

*** do you mean it follows your screen and visible devices!?

Hey wait----I thought there was another place on planet z for this kind of indulgence.

***looks good, gonna check it out.

No , as you change from app to app you must turn the jog wheel to the desired app configuration.

The concept is sound and I have actually just chatted with someone else who has used it who reported that It was pretty good although did follow this by sayin that he had not put it under much stress so.....

I think I will have to try it out for my self

Pees.
