Is there anybody here with a fully produced Hip-Hop song in this forum? The Reason why i ask is that it is mostly the sound i do my music in , i also do a little experimental rock, but thats every blue moon. I also do hip-hop rnb, and i really need to hear some results. I havent bought this card, yet. I have indeed been listening to songs on this forum, and as i am a avid listner of all genres, i can tell you that the stuff sounds good.
So if theres any one viewing this post who is a predominatley hip-hop influnced composer/producer, i would like to hear from you on your expressions of the scope platform for sound quality.
I am uttery appualed at the final results in cubase, when it comes to mixing, it works for those that dont recognize the sound, excuse me, the feel, of a pro-quality product, But it just dosent work for said values.
Feel, is a very pshyco-acoustic function in music. When you here a voice of a person in front of you, it is very natural and somewhat, pleasing. The way music rubs you sonically has a very emotional impact and combined with good composition provides a very textured journey in to you, the composer or producer's, intent or purpose of the song. so it is best to get it as sonically natural as possibal.
I hope for Scope to be able to let me acheive these results.
