Thanks,
But I tried that to no avail. I need to send a snapshot from DAW #1 to my new internet computer via USB stick, to send here as an example.

press print or alt-print to capture the active window.

Then you got it in pc temp memory

Then start paint from Start-> accessoires

click edit and insert.... and then go save the picture as jpg for easy and quick transfer.....

hope that works...

We use 'paint.net' on this net machine for simple image edits because it's freeware. It's streets ahead of 'paint' in XP & although it doesn't have the more advanced features we need for graphics work, I'd call it up anytime before gimp for doing simple things like you're trying to do S4L, as it's nicer to work with.

get paint.net here >>> http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html

Thanks to counterparts for the heads up on paint.net a few months ago !!! Finally, I was able to uninstall an app I dislike very much ... GIMP ... what a piece of sh*t.

I sware I could fuck up a steel ball. I can't get it right. I just wanted to show a picture here of my routing window w/ a new project using 5 x VM-42's, 12 channels of Gigastudio GSIF, Pro One, Solaris, external effects, and hardware analog synthesizer ( SE-1x, and Oberheims ). Internal FX are naturally Psy-Q, Softclip, SSB Modulator, 4 Tap Chorus, and Tape Simulator / SpaceF delays.

This was all done w/ 27 DSP's 1 x Type II Pro w/ 2 x 6 DSP SRB's Type 1's
.
I was going to sell the 2 x 15 DSP SRB's, as they are Type I's, but have recently discovered that when they are installed w/ a Type II as the I/O card, they work just as well as the Type II's after optimising a little. I will re-install the 15's and see what other goodies I can load.

So I have 3 x extra DSP cards w/ 2 x Luna's coming 4 my son. I think I will make him learn w/ 1 x 6 DSP SRB Type II, and the 2 x Luna's. It will be nice to see the boy @ work. Maybe he can teach me advanced techniques in Modular. He is responsible for teaching me how to use email. These extra DSP cards will be used on his second, third, fourth , and fifth DAW once the new PCI-e cards come out. I came from a hand me down family, plus he stares @ my rig for hours in amazement w/ the headphones on. My X swares he is a mini-me. I disagree as he is mature, and I on the other hand,......oh well.

Thanks Anyway Guys, Must Go Record w/ Cubase 4, Esta Luego.
