Sonic8 has posted synthandsampler B stock for a great price (minimax, modular III etc) Is Sonic8 a reputable dealer?

Glad to hear. I placed an order last night. I truly only want the minimax and modulat III and this was the most affordable way to purchase the package. I am running two pulsar 1s and don't need a lot of polyphony. I hope to add another pulsar 1 soon. I was very impressed with the Modular I and see that the Modular III has new modules and there are many patches available for it. My jaw hit the floor when I heard the cs-15 patch. Some great stuff in there.

Why not add one Pulsar2 card and get the advantage of lower latency with your Pulsar1 cards - plus you'll get two extra DSP (and probably a bunch of software thrown in)?

Regarding PULSAR II.

Yes, that is a good idea to have more DSP. I have purchased my Pulsar 1s for $200.00 U.S. each and I run them on a dedicated computer. In this configutation I don't need low latency asio but I suppose it could be useful. I love all of the IOs , I have two dedicated 1 unit servers that host my Oasys PCI cards and stream them into my Creamware box. The routing and ability to mix things up by drawing virtual cables is fantastic. I am thinking that 12 dsp should be good enough for my purposes as the polyphony is not essential . I haven't come across a used creamware pulsar II under $300.00 US which is my price point. The synth and sampler B stock from Sonic8 will give me the main toys that I want but more effects would be good. I will keep searching for a pulsar II or I and might get lucky with a few added plug-ins thrown in. Thanks for the input. - Scott
