Can't help but noticing that they call it "Hi-End analogue Mastering".

I guess analogue has become some kind of buzz-word that people asociate with something positive..... ;)

...and surely you noticed that their bx_digital scope version is not sold exclusively in the cw shop anymore, but also by themselves. a practice also adopted by DAS, btw...

-greetings, markus-

ps: yes, the price tag is damn heavy...

How many of those puppies do they expect to sell at a price like that? Only a very few gigantic studios could ever afford it! (I guess that's why the decided to make a digital software version for the rest of us....)

well, (assuming the box isn't just a gimmick...) it's just an equivalent of (roughly) 170 work hours, about a month of mastering, so to say... ;)
given it can do the same job twice as fast, it pays off after 2 months... :D

cheers, Tom
formula: subtract 1 fifth for VAT, from the remaining subtract 1 third for tax balance effects, leaves you at about 10k Euro, a humble 60 Euro for the engineer... (to leave some space for own calculations...) :P
