Best Free Creamware Devices

Post by Scotty »

HAs some one compiled a list with links to the best free Creamware devices?
I have just nicely caught the creamware bug and have found some nice freeware but my quest is hit and miss.

Also, what are your favorite free synths and if possible links to find them.

best is a big call, but free synths I've liked & found useful recently for the kind of music I make have been neutron & plastic, do a search in the devices section & you should find them, also well worth a look is the modular patches section, there's a patch called wobble bass i've had fun with recently & mccyrano has recently done a lot of useful free effects (tho it helps if you have flexor) - search by author in devices

be warned the bug bites hard, at some point you need to stop searching & make music with what you have

Just a couple from "devices" tread:
three-o-three
wavelength thrust synthesizer (in aprticular)
wavelength various
a lot of mod patches like i.e. morpheus 1 &2
4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

Saturn w/ the Oberheim Switch On, and no FX. Use Osc's to detune rather than the old ( yawn, yawn ) chorus, echo crap.

Thanks , I am having an absolute blast with this. It is like knex for synth geeks.

I have an oasys feeding one set of adat pairs and man can I flip turn, spin, and combine things like never before.

I am working with the modular 1 as it came with the card and I dialed up the cs-15 and my jaw hit the floor. I have a couple of analogs in my studio and the sound from the pulsar modulars are steller.

Like all pulsarian, I am now looking for more dsp.

Free devices

Post by Liquid Len »

Apart from the ones mentioned so far :

1 Celmo's BlueWave synth
2 Alfonso's crossover insert
3 Wolf's Audio-to-Midi converter

Oops, 2 and 3 aren't synths - but they are very useful free devices anyways.

K sorry about that. I had a version of a Celmo synth that seemed to be free. It was based on the Waldorf oscillators. Haven't used it in a while. I'll check it when I get home.

Hi guys i'm a newbie, but i've been spying on you for years though BC. Before Creamware. If the Xover insert is still a freebie you should try and get it for your collection. It's a valuable tool and my non CW mates still have green eyes.

Happy New Year

So any other recommended synths or modules? I have the statrun, thruster, 303 clone. Any other must haves from the "must be free" category?
