Use Celmos free guitar amp as insert before DYNATUBE !

Post by musurgio »

I was looking for a better distotrtion that waht is available on all dynatubes.
Celmos has some great distortion on his amp sim likein his free one too.
So using his free one as insert on dynatube with a lot of preamp boost I get a great distortion that does NOT scream with extra noise as ALL distortion plugins do !!
I don't know how celmo makes his plugz but they also have more headroom too !! , dynatube suffers from headroom compared to GAM BAM and free.
I WOULD LOVE to have as separate plugins the speakers only from dynatubes so buying the GAM with the dynatubes speaker emulations would make a great combination.
Regards,
Dimitrios

I am looking to add noiseless distortion to my B3, and Gibson, Vox, and Farfisa. That usually came from Fender Twins. But it was noiseless. On synths and keyboards extra harmonics and distortion are welcome, but after someone spent time making these beautiful plugs and devices, I hate to add NOISE. If so they should call it noise and distortion plug.

Thanxs,

noise makes people say, hey this is real stuff, must be analog...
seriously, I wouldn't bother so much, a gate with a slow release slope will do the job, and where's sound the noise is a 'natural' part of the sound...
When the sound is great... :-)
