Registration to a different card costs 35 euro!?

Post by helldriver »

i bought me via ebay the transient designer. I paid 42 euros for it. i always thought that a change of the registration is for free. but the seller told me it´s not what he didn´t mentioned in his bid on ebay.
what can i do?
is it true that creamware wants to get paid for a change of registration?
and if so, the bid on ebay ought to be void because the seller never mentioned the 35euro of additional payment.
what do you think?

I'm afraid it's your loss...plugin transferring hardly is rewarding these days, unless a card is involved, as plugs per card are transfered for about 95,- euro if I'm right.
it's true, transfers were free once, kind of 'service',but after the financial problems, when at the same time people started to transfer plugs that they acquired double by buying the new special bundle offers and or 2ndh. hardware cards, Creamware decided they wanted to get payed for the transfers, as it run out of hand.
It seems to be quite a job, so most of us had understanding...

i would argue the toss with the seller - he probably won't pay the transfer, but he may forfeit the sale with no negative feedback. If he doesn't play ball then try reporting it to eBay. However, do not write to him and threaten that you'll report him to eBay or threaten negative feedback if he doesn't comply as i think you can end up having your account frozen and being blacklisted - keep it civil. Also double check there's no small print in the ad saying transfer fees are the buyer's responsibility, if so he's got you i'm afraid.

the seller isn't obliged to mention the transfer costs...
however, suggesting giving him a negative feedback if not canceling or adjusting the deal probably will work well :-)
