A big brown box arrived today.

A big brown box arrived today.

No, it was not full of anthrax. It was my CW hardware. So although I don't have all my cables yet, I would like to take this time out to say in the immortal words of Jimi Hendrix: excuse me while I kiss this guy. 8)

we all have to get by somehow. it's not the most glamourous job, but at the end of the day i feel like i did a good thing by giving a slightly used, and too often overlooked, manatee an opportunity to get back on its feet and make a difference.

the biggest card in the west

Post by UsedManateeSalesman »

This card is undeniably monstrously huge. My case and mobo combination just barely give it room to breathe, and if they hadn't I was going to get out a hacksaw. Fortunatley the case might have survived. The motherboard, on the other hand... Let's just not think about that.

If you are into synths, Creamware synths are excellant, but once you dive into Modular w/ Flexor, SpaceF, ProWave Modular, Solaris Modular, you can tailor your synths exactly to what's in your head. I am a hardware convert from the old ARP 2600S, and Oberheim Matrix days. I couldn't be happier. Congrats. You will be needing more DSP's, as your sickness manifests itself.

And there should be more of it, although I'm going to go back to the original line and kiss the sky no matter how stupid it looks. Sorry blokes and whiskers, no, I'll just have to say thank you. :)
