Why my pc can't boot when i plug the Pulsar 2 ?

My pc is an Athlon XP 2000+ with an asus a7n8x (nforce 2) and can't make system boot when i plug a Pulsar 2 PCI card.

I have tried another pc with VIA chipset but don't boot.

Only with another Intel P4 the motherboard boot and i can use it.

Why ? The pulsar 2 works with AMD cpu ?

I have the scope home sound card + box.

check windows installation also check bios settings

OK it works !

I have disabled any integrated peripherals in bios settings.
