Very interesting style wayne! The sonic quality is excellent. Could I ask what gear and scope (?) tools you used in producing this? Is that masterverb on the banjo?

Hey Witek, thanks !

The banjo & guitar are recorded with a Rode NT2 through a cheap ART Tube MiniPre on neutral setting.

It's Warp's P100 verb, some Vinco on guitar, Optimaster, then resparkled with PsyQ.

Strange, i can easily hear a funky new Orleans pattern as well as a D'nBass beat with nerve rattles under it

Um, got hold of my grandpa's banjo about 28 years ago, but was using it more for strum action.

Here I have used the magic of multitrack occasionally to give the impression of chopsiness where perhaps i may fall short

On this thread i fessed up thus

if it was too tricky i did two banjo tracks, one would be 1st & 2nd semiquavers, other 3rd & 4th.

Interesting results with accents doing it that way too.
