Well I just bought the ADA-8000 4 200 USD shipped. That settles that situation. But now I am looking 4 an external tube warmer to run on an AUX buss in the STM1632. I have had good luck running external analog synths in and out of SFP, and digital reverbs, delays (analog) and such. So this should be a piece of cake. The Drawmar TB1 Tubestation is what I am looking at 4 this scenario right now. It has side chaining capabilities for it's compressor section, and seems like I could bring it into the mixer through analog I/O's with a couple of RCA to XLR adapters. Since I will be losing 6db insertion loss on the adapters I should be able to make up 4 it on the Drawmar since it is a tube pre also. Any warnings or ideas 4 a better way to achieve the end results are welcome. As I am in a spending mood today, and must resolve this upgrade 4 my little hussy band next week.
Thank You My Brotha'Fellow Pulsarians,
