(look at it as an invitation to concider upgrading card, SFP and computer; at least you know for sure that you can exclude weird configuration behaviour

It also shows that DAS' reaction wasn't really smart, to say the least.
Now they've spent big and inaccurat munition for nothing, and have left an unprofessional impression.

Ok, we can go on again spending useless time on too much posts on this beloved forum...

definitly yes ! we just want to know the features of the plug ins from developpers and the point of view of the users. ANd yes, we need to be sure the 160 reverb is not a matsreverb pro with a different GUI. When P100 from STW was launched, most of the points of view were positive. As for DAS, we need more information and more feedback before deciding the purchase.

And guys, we all know that good EQs for scope platform is a KEY axe of developpement as many users mix under scope....

Are you referring to me? I thought I made it pretty clear that I'm reserving judgment until I do try the plugins, but I must admit I'm not too hopeful going from the evidence I have so far (still no-one has commented on the post I linked from a guy who has experience with a real SSL comp).

I would never harrass a developer for no reason... I'm not one of those people who moan about prices etc. I'm just concerned with quality, as we all are on Planet Z. Otherwise we would not use these DSP cards at all.

If you look at the bigger picture - Waves and SSL themselves have created some pretty incredible sounding emulations of classic SSL hardware. I've tried the Duende myself and it sounds amazing.

IMHO if these DAS plugins are nowhere near the quality required, it would be damaging for the Creamware platform as a whole.

Sorry for going off-topic, I know this thread was originally about the reverb.

sure, as the (quality of the) plug was completely irrelevant for what I was protesting against.
Respectless forum behaviour (given the qualification is right) isn't more acceptable when shown by a (well respected) software develloper, specially not when he's obviously speaking for the company. period.
I won't discriminate...

Is it so hard to keep different things in different boxes, Shrooms?
