I apologise for having to ask this embarrassing question. I have searched the forums to no avail.
Last night I ordered the Vintage Bundle & SL9000. So far, so good. I got an invoice with ftp details and a link to my personal activation keys page. I then copied the activation keys and installed the OXE files to the SCOPE computer in the studio.
The problem is - the new plugs are asking me for activation keys that aren't on my activation keys page. I've paid, I've recieved a receipt email, I've installed the plugs, and I've kept refreshing, but my new plugins just don't appear on that page.
Has something gone wrong, or am I making a classic mistake?
Please help, I'll be very grateful!
Thanks
Owen...
Can't find the keys to my new Digital Audio Soft plugs
The reg keys machine used to be online and about realtime, but since there were some security problems with that (as I understand), they're now being generated on an offline machine. This takes human action, and some delay. It's well possible they're on your keys page already ATM... If not, please exercise a little patience - if all goes well, they should be on in about 24h.
Enjoy yer new plugs

This sounds like the keys may have to be generated before you can see and download them.
This has been the case for all additional plugins that I have bought from Creamware.
I can't remember exactly where this is done on their site, but if I remember correctly, it's somewhere under your page on their site.
Have a look for a link which says something like "generate keys" and click on that. This will build the keys and add them to your keys list.
HTH!

OK, got it now, log in to you page and go to the download section. You'll see a list of your devices with "(must be generated)" next to the ones which need a key to be generated and then a 'generate' link.
If that doesn't work for you, you can generally find "no keys .oxe" files from their ftp site; the download section contains details of their ftp site.
Thinking about it a bit more, I'm not sure if the generate function creates the keys or builds the .oxe file for downloading...it's been a while but I'm pretty sure that the site generated no keys .oxe files for me (but it's been quite some time since I last bought anything for my system!)

Hmmm, looks like the generate link just creates the .oxe for downloading and you still need a key :-/
By the way, I'm pretty sure that there used to be a link to download the allkeys.skf file from the keys page, but that no longer appears to be there (?)
Might still be worth giving the ftp site a go though as it claims to have no-keys .oxe files.

My opinion is they're lovely.
I haven't got much out of the SL-9000 yet, but I've played around with the EQs a lot, and I used the N1084 in my client's project, today. They sound much better than my Powercore EQs, but I slightly wish they had more control. Having said that, I think each plugin borrows more from the control design of the hardware 'counterparts' than anything else. That being the case, I can't see any reason why they would copy the control designs other than for marketting purposes. Still, I take them for what they are - cheap DSP plugins. I couldn't give a more indepth review without using them for a few weeks.
