want to expand my studio with bringing drums to midi;
anyone using roland V-drums or acoustic drum trigger with scope?
my spezial question is about the latency;
signal goes from triggerpickup to midiconverter over scope to midisequencer;
a long way; how long does it take ?
and is it live useable with sts samplers or is latency to long for fast fill ins ?
any expiriance is wellcome
greetings from vienna

I work opposite of a guy who uses v-drum and Giga w/o latency issues. It is a hybrid kit which uses real cymbals, and not the cheezy roland cymbals.

Thnks for answering;
sounds good;
whats wrong with roland cymbals? the new 3 way triggering ones look good to me much better than yamaha
i think with hybrid you meen some v-pads + some real drum with acoustig drum trigger
btw
is it possible to make a audio to midi trigger in sdk or perhaps in modular? there just note on/off + velocity that would forceout mr. roland and mr. yahama
i better ask this in devices withlist
good vibes from vienna
