I doubt my European brothas' have any need 4 authentic American Plectrons, or Banjos, but I use to get the basic twang on my synths and samplers in the day, but Modular has really nailed it this evening 4 me. My cohorts here in LV are saying just buy the static samples and quit wasting your time on that silly Modular shit. When people tell me I can't do something I usually go the other way. Flexor has created a monster 4 me and I just can't stop playing in the sandbox. Just thought I'd let you guys know that it does very acurate acoustic sounds. I grew up on the banks of the Mississippi River listening to all that great original music, and I can vouge 4 it's authenticity. I am confident if one has the time, he/she can achieve anything if you are determined enough. I am going back to Modular now 4 I feel confident I can program a good Zither so my brothas' of Saxony, you can relate to this instrument. The sustaining string resonance might be tricky, but it's all in the envelopes, and their modulations to them.

I Love It. Especially the " Ofuckin' Official part." Great shit, glad to see this kind of entertainment, they could get a lucrative job here in Las Vegas. We have every type of shit you could imagine. Even organ grinders with monkeys, an American heritage.

Any chance of posting a mod patch for these bluegrass bango sounds?

Yes,
It is on the OBX-c, but I will send the pre.'s to CWerner when I return from vacation.

Nice one.
I haven't fully explored the patch, but will hopefully play with it for an hour or so (the patch) tomorrow.

You didn't mention the OBX-c patch in your original post.

A common mistake 4 me from playing for hours w/o rest. The double ADSR Vintage envelopes will get attack transients, and the PWM on OSC II will bring in the Bandpass string sound, but the filters are Multimode LP w/o the 24db cut. I will share my stuff with you when I get back from Fla. July 5th.

Never mind S4L, I'm pretty sure six-string will do a better job.
