How do you save presets using the sfp v3.1 format?

A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

I would like to know about how to save my presets where devices use the sfp v3.1 format. I have checked the Creamware website and it only seems possible to get access to the v3.1 manual by installing the complete package (which I don't want to do). I would really like to get hold of the v3.1 manual so I could read about the v3.1 presets options. Can anyone help?

You can only use those presets with older versions of devices. You can get to these older devices by getting them from the installer, by installing it or just taking it from the zip file (don't remember how that version of SFP was packed).

Sorry, I probably didn't explain myself too well. What I really need to know is how to use the preset panel that appears when using devices designed with sfp v3.1. For instance, there is a red cross with "Preset" written above it - what does this do? Can you create a bank (like the "Create" option in Scope v4.x)?

The Scope 3.1 presets are exactly the same as 4.0. In fact, the current preset system has been around since Pulsar 3.0. It was the <2.x software that had old presets.

Shayne, right, just thought that'd be the old style preset list he mentioned...
