I am sick with Modular fever. As I have already outgrown my 19" LCD, I was wondering how I could use 2 x 19" NEC LCD's. I have a dual head 32MB Matrox G450. If need be I could get another card, but I can run Giga, and 6 different windows in SFP already. As usual I seek the knowledge of trained professionals of this forum.

Just get the second LCD, plug it to your graphic card and off you go. Doubled desktop size, one side for sfp one for something else. Or a monster modular over both LCDs?
I use two 20" wide screen LCDs my Nuendo is spread over the two LCDs, left side for the arrangement and mixer right side for the plugs or sfp.
As soon as you use two screens, you won´t have less anymore. It simply safes worktime.
I guess your graphic card should carry this task, you´ll see, you can´t destroy something, so give it a try.

That's The Ticket Brotha'Man CW,
I wish to do exactly that. My controller has 10 available surfaces for controlling modular, Solaris, STM2448, and all FX, plus external analog synths and effects. The modular has been so rewarding, especially with all of ReD_'s stuff. He keeps telling me to forget about emulations and get more creative with his shapers and such. I still need to complete my emulations 4 I am the one who decides the choices of sound I use at the gig. But I followed his advice and he is absolutely right about Modular/Flexor modules. I am creating some really heavy duty sounds I could never get on other synths before. So I see me programming on two LCD's for there is never enough real estate it seems. Thanks 4 the tip, I'm off to ebay 4 a neww NEC LCD. I will look like a mad scientist by the time this rig is completed this fall.

Dual monitors will be about the biggest raise in productivity one can get from working with a computer, more than updating a PC every 2 years IMO
Using G450 with 32MB myself, for almost 10 years now...
