just thought i'd write a bit about my next big project. next wed may 31st i'll be videotaping(two cameras) my group's live performance at diPiazza's in long beach, ca. the audio will be multitracked by my friend's scope system, including an a16, nightpro, demeter and avalon mic pres and other cool stuff. this will be the 3rd or 4th major mobile live recording, and i expect it to run as flawlessly as the previous runs.......

You should invite JimmyV along. What a hoot that would be.

GaryB,
Keep me posted on your gigs bro', as I would love to see and hear Scope live, and to meet and see you play. Afterall it was you who got me into this never ending addiction.
I played at the Red Onion on the Redondo Beach Pier in early '80's when Berlin / Teri Nunn were just a lounge group there. SoCal has built in crowds wherever you play at.
Give me a heads up next time, I'll bring a keg 'o' Jaegermeister, and round us up some trim for afterwards.

I Know You Will Do Great,

P.S. BTW brother man GaryB, I will be needing that 15 DSP card very soon. As Mod III/Flexor/Solaris is killing my 36 DSP rig. Everthing loads up well, but I'm way above my 70-80% DSP usage levels that I have had such stability playing live with.

well, folks...
absolute folly!
BUT, scope worked great! no problems, no muss, no fuss as one would expect and vdat sounds great. of course the noah's b2003 was nice as always. tomorrow i'll get a better look at the audio(which seems pretty good at first glance) and maybe next week, i'll have a better idea about the video(three cameras!). if only we played championship ball for the whole game instead of in spurts, we could rule the whole world.....we could be weapons of mass destruction!!!!(like Jimmy...)

I am jonesing 2 hear VDAT, as I am dreaming of VDAT, Solaris, Flexor, Modular in a live scenario. Did you play at the volleyball beach gig in Huntington by chance? I could just imagine the fine trim at that show, all in Bikins bouncing around. Wow VDAT/Scope/Trim/Jaeger/Flexor/Solaris/Modularwhat more could a man ask 4?
