PLEASE HELP!
I have downloaded the Minimax editor for Mac (both version 1.0 and 2.0) and I cannot get my Minimax to update. First of all the only version I can get to work is 1.0 (which is funny, because when you use the "get info" feature, it says it's version 2.0 (2005) and when I do the same for 2.0, it says it's 3.0 (2006)).
Upon opening, it normally cannot open the MIDI devices (an Edirol UA4fx), but the rare times it actually does, all I can get it to do is know when it's being controlled by the Minimax ASB, refresh the version and serial number info and that's it! I cannot download presets or user sound lists to it (or from it), as it gets stuck. The same is true for the update, I find the file, enter the code and start it off, but after about 3 seconds, it sticks and that's it!
When I try to open version 2.0 (3.0?) of the editor, it closes before it can fully open and gives no reason as to why, so there's nothing I can do with it! Agh!!!!
If anyone has done this - or if there is something I am not doing - please help. My Minimax is version 1.01 and I'd very much like to update it. I have an iMac G5 1.9GHz with 512 RAM and 160GB HD running Tiger 10.4.6
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your help on this one.
I got the e-mail and loaded up the software, which actually opened and worked first time. I loaded up the OS 1.04 file, entered my key code and started to send it to the Minimax via MIDI using my Edirol UA4fx. Everything went fine, the file ported over and I got a message saying it had been successful. I rebooted the ASB and refreshed the info, so I could see that it had the new version number, which is 00000104, but here is where things when wrong.
Rather than having the new OS number to show it had been updated, it still had the old Version 00000101 number in the box. I tried it again, but the same thing has happened, so I've e-mailed tech support in Germany (as you told me to), to see if there is anything I am doing wrong, if there is anything I have to do on the ASB before I start sending the file (both software and ASB are set to MIDI channel 1), and to see if there is some way in which this can be solved so that I can update my MInimax.
Thanks for your help, I'll keep you posted.

I have just received an e-mail from Wolf Roth at Creamware, informing me that the 00000101 number shown in the "Version" box on the Minimax remote software relates to the "built of the internal controller, which operates your machine", not the current OS version as I mistakenly thought it did.
I have been told that if I got a success message after updating, that my machine will now be using the OS 1.04 software. Thanks all!
