Can someone explain the red numbers which are located over the in and out meters - next to the margin reset knob - to me....
I really dont get what i have to read out from those...
a little guidance would be greatly apprechiated....

They are peak meters - the maximum dB since the device is loaded or since they been reset by clicking the 'reset margin' button.

if you're talking about the standard compressors, the left meter shows the input peak level, the right meter shows the output peak level, the meter in the middle is the reduction level.
for example, if you see a -4 input level and a -8 output level and you need to maximize the output level to -0.2, you should enter +7.8 in the gain section (the gain level must be set to zero before the operation).

hey djmicron, yes - this is excactly what i wanted to point out...
but when i reset the margin , i get a -2,9 db on both sides....
this will not change until i change sth on the settings - threshold and ratio - ok thats clear
but when i have a low threshold and infinite ratio, then push the reset margin - i will get the -2,9 as long as i dont change the parameters...
how could that be that i see dthe difference clearly on the peak meters but this difference wont show up in the respective numbers???

i've made a try of it, because i don't use it by time and i've found that sometimes for some reason, the peak level is the same as the input peak, but the in and out meters are showing different levels.
In this case, you can use external level meters, for example the stm meters to see the correct out peak level.

The manual says that i can adjust the amount of the LFO modulation at the source amounts , located above the destinations in the upper left corner of the Synth...
hmmmm, i just find the FiltEnv and the OscB amounts there, no LFO amounts....
So , how can i modulate something with the LFO?
This sounds like a stupid question , since the LFO is something everyone uses - but i really can´t find out where and how to route it in the Pro12...
So, can someone clearify this a little?

the pro 12 has 2 lfo sources, the standard lfo and the osc 2 that can be set as lfo using the "lo freq" switch.
To assign the lfo's to the destination targets, you should look to the "poly mod" section in the upper left corner of the main screen of the pro 12, where the filter env pot is for the filter envelope amount and the second pot is for the osc 2 amount.
Under these 2 pots, there is the destination section with selectable buttons, freq a for assigning the modulation to osc 1, freq 2 to osc 2, pwa to the pulse width of osc 1 and so on.....
For the use of lfo 1, you should go in the wheel mod section, assign the destinations in the same way of the poly mod section and use the modulation wheel amount to modulate with lfo 1 or if you don't want to use the mod wheel, go to the pro 12 "add" page and set the mw offset to max.
p.s. i agree to you that at the page 9 of the manual there is an lfo amount pot that on the pro 12 surface does not exist

so, when i want to modulate with the lfo 1, which is the one who is midi syncable, i have to route that in the modwheel section - not in the polymod section as how described in the manual ?
