Thats Right Boys. The only hardware I use now is for outboard FX, and monophonic sources. All polyphonic synths are covered by Solaris,Bluewave,Vectron,Pro-12,and monophonic sources are covered by Studio Electronics SE-1x, and certain MODIII multi oscillator patches. It took me since early last summer to get it right but this is one kick ass live rig. I can stop buying expensive hardware and buy myself a Yankee Hummer mil.specs of course.I did my first sound check for the room we will work this weekend, and I can't wait to play.Even my guitar player I'm working with now is in awe. These guys have never heard a fat rig like this.
Thank You John Bowen, CWA gmbh.

Hi scope4live,

how does the SE-1x stack up against the Minimax in your opinion?

thanks,

kybernaut - I have an SE1 (would love the upgrade to the X but the shipping and having to be without it for a while prevents it). Nice though the Minimax is, IMHO it can't compare for mono use. For polyphonic stuff though the Minimax is great. Having said that my MKS80 and Juno are very much in use. I still love the way that analog stuff reacts and things like true feedback and smooth CV control are only possible in the analog domain.
