min.requirements for pulsar v.3.01

Working on a PII 400,BX,with 384 RAM,I noticed some problems passing through the uptated v.3.01.Some crackles in audio playback when I use STS2000P with 50 MB of samples loaded.Swithcing the latency in 25ms seems to be ok.(not at all).could you tell me the min.reqs.for v.3?could I pass to another PC?thanx

i had the same setup when i sold my pulsar.
i was experiencing a bad overall performance when going to latencies lower than 25 ms.

That machine should be more than enough, but let me tell you, proper configuration makes a HUGE difference. I'd suggest sticking with Win98SE or WinME on that box, then you can use the Win9x/ME optimization tips from http://www.infinitevortex.com to get your machine without crackles. Most important thing is getting your card on it's own IRQ, and removing as many other devices on the PCI bus as possible.

OK folks!the problem was that the checkboxes of DMA in drive settings were UNCHECKED!as i checked them evrything worked fine.anyway thank you ALL.kosmarv greek musician
