xtc - a conflict?

i've installed my pulsar into working system and i could'nt use xtc mode. the message was:
b34:cubasesx.exe - entry point not found
the procedure entry point ?closeBackgroundProject@ScopeApp@@MAEXXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library RAPI.dll

i tried and tried. so when i reinstalled the system suddenly the xtc started to work without problems. it was 2 days ago, i've tested it few times and left it. until now, i've installed some programs, codecs, windows XP updates and the situation is the same. the error. maybe someone know which app or install makes the problem, the only way for me is to reinstall windows, make xtc work and check it between every further software installation

trying to use Ninjam - live internet
jamming (http://www.ninjam.com/) - and pulsar and got this strange MAEXX.... msg - check my XTC setting - took it off - ie unticked - and now works
