Haven't tried it yet, but must express my feelings about the construction. It breathes quality in every inch. The knobs have a very nice resistance and the wooden panels on the sides even smells nice

Unfortunately you won't have time to try it this WE since you have an another 100 presets to make for the upcoming John Bowen's synth : The N....
Also waiting for your first sonic impressions of the ASB, especially if you have the Scope version !

I remember people saying that Noah was rather poorly put together. I guess they've moved up in the world.

just played with the thing.
my first impressions are very positive. it sounds great and works very smoothly. the controls all seem high quality and it's definitely better than the original with a poly mode and effects......

A Noah + ASB grouped forum is a bad idea IMO. Noah and ASB are as different as ASB and Scope can be.
All Noah threads will be useless for pure ASB owners, and the opposite too.
I think people who want such a grouped forum are just Scope users that dont want to see the Scope threads mixed with the ASB threads.
As a Noah user, I feel the very same about the Noah section...

yes it does.
it also has control of the filter via aftertouch which is really cool!
VERY easy and intuitive to operate(as an analog should be)as well....

Absolutely a hit. When the Noah came out I wanted it to be a hit, but in my heart I knew it was too complicated and too expensive to appeal to a broader market.

Minimax ASB is something completely different.

Everything works just great. As I said earlier, the quality of the knobs are fantastic. The sound? Well... I'm not much into comparing this and the Scope-version. To be honest, I'm not a very big Moog-fan (although I absolutely adore the envelopes), but it's clear the usefulness is in a COMPLETELY new dimension when having all the knobs and buttons available.

The only thing I didn't like was the delays. Too few controls. No feedback. Didn't hook it up to my computer, and maybe things get better then?

Personally I will wait with my money for the Profit-5. That's a much more interesting synth.

To Decimator. Hahah... No, no more patches for N******. Maybe for the Solaris though. Good sounds, by the way. Interesting as always...
