When an update will become true ?
errh, no interesting new things ?Due to lack of interesting new things on Scope, my interest has strayed to the VST world.
cw released osiris, there were the new reverbs from warp, spacef released the black box, zarg released ReDrum, rotor/solaris update, etc., de'vice released ison and finally myself released lots of (imo very interesting

Some of the stuff is/was/will never be available on other platforms.
I mean .. how much food does your pc need per week ?

I have a new reverb from STW, very nice. Don't forget the Celmo stuff, it's great. I just recorded a 'reverb solo' (so named by the producer later) using one of their cool spring things.
Is it possible to say anything on here other than 'Scope I love you, you are the greatest, for ever and ever, I promise never to look at another' without some jumpy reaction? I thought this was a forum for discussion? Or is it some sort of cult?

Well, if you claim things that aren't exactly exact, like "there hasn't been any recent development" or "there is no developer at creamware", you can't expect people to stand there and say nothing (unless you offer a generous bribe (I'll take DSPs or weird outboard devices, also possibility of bribing using various records or pretty girls' phone numbers (North America only please)!
))
But yeah, personally I'm a bit of a zealot
It's not quite cult-level yet, we still need to agree on some sort of Guru or Head-honcho-person-to-worship =P

as Hubird wrote - extend the viewpoint... - Wolf's comment is probably more a wondering how much it needs to impress you
or about your definition of interesting new things ?
sometimes I find it almost embarassing how few I do with my Scope synths and FX - I can't help the feeling they deserve better use, as there's so much unexplored
yet I also found one interesting thing beyond SFP recently... well not exactly true as I discovered it when checking restoration algorithms - and Osiris could be used for this as well.
but since the result is more or less lofi and deconstructing waveforms the expense is a bit high for the purpose
all those noise reduction things give surprising results with extreme parameters on non-noisy sources
cheers, tom

In the meantime, I'm wondering, how a harmless joke can lead to such statements .. sometimes it is really hard and misunderstandable to communicate via writing only.
As astrotom wrote, I just wondered about what geoff misses. Again, it was never my intention to bash anyone for anything. Sorry if it seemed like that.

I'm feeling a little stupid here, but can anyone pass me to the product page or checkout item in the shop? I've only been able to find reference to it the Restore package.

Yes! Noise-reduction/Denoising algos on non-noisy stuff is absolutely mindblowing, I used to do that years ago, I had kind of forgotten about it. Now I have to buy Osiris. Oh well *faint screams of dying bank account in the background*
