Exchanging devices shortcut

I see in the Scope manual that you can exchange modules while maintaining connections by holding down the Ctrl - key. Is there such a shortcut for devices? as I would find this really useful. Have searched the forums and manuals and tried different key combinations but this option does not seem to be available for devices at present.

you can right click on the picture of the device you want to change from in the live bar, and then you will get a dropdown menu where you can select a new device, which will remain connected in the old devices place.
