I have a Novation Remote 25 midi controller, hooks up via USB into my computer. Using Cubase SX 2.2 (PC). Cubase sees the controller fine, but now that i have the Scope Pro card, i don't know how to get it to respond to this midi controller, with out coming out of the controller via a MIDI Cable into the Scope.
The problem with that is that no matter which track i am on, it will continue to still play the Scope Soft synth, even though i may be on a different track trying to play the Albino for example.
Do i need a device or some thing setup different in my routing window??? PLEASE HELP!!
question about midi controlling (newbie)

I have Scope Midi A source out to "INFERNO" and also to IN Sequencer Midi Dest1.
Also have Sequencer Midi Source1 out to Midi A destination.
this triggers the soft synth, but only with a regular MIDI cable hooked up from my Midi Controller into the Scope,
i am wanting it to work via it's USB interface which goes into the computer.

select the right midi channel on the synth.
i use it all the time , no problem.
the only limitation i've found is that , for parameter feedback, you have to use scope midi out+omni channel (but r25 doesn't use that feature if i'm correct).
but no need to use scope midi in (all go in thru usb in my setup, to sx), no need for xtc neither. [[ other topic : for parameter feedback i suppose sequencer with midi device panels (sx3, sonar? others?) allow full usb control + direct paremeter feedback (no need to use scope midi out nor omni, but i only have sx 1.6 so i didn't try that yet).]]
So, for you, it is only a matter of selecting the right midi channel in scope. and the right midi channel in sx.
if the synth continues to receive midi, it is most probably because its midi channel is set to omni.
