Anyone know how to set up a G2 Modular engine in Scope as an effect? I have a Pulsar 2 and a Luna card so I have 2 ins and 2 outs which should give me more flexibility but when I try to connect my ins and outs on the G2 all I hear is the unprocessed sound coming through my speakers - I've tried using the external effects plugin and doing it using the mixers but I'm obviously doing something wrong - pictures would be useful

thanks

Did you *save* the External Effect after you assigned IO in it? It's settings are not remembered by the project...

No because it didn't work anyway.

edit - oh hang on it is doing something but it's just very quiet (and I had it turned right down anyway till I figured it out to avoid damaging something).

I'm trying to play a Piano patch from my Korg through a complex delay/echo effect in the G2. My Korg come in using the Luna analogue in and sound goes out to the G2 from the Luna's out and comes back in through the Pulsar's analogue in and then out to the speakers through the Pulsars analogue out. I have a simple channel strip connected to the Korg (Luna in) and my Speakers (Pulsar out) with the Master external effects plugin inserted with the connections made to and from the G2. If I turn gain up full I hear something of the effect but it's very much overshadowed by the plain piano sound even with wet up full.

Ok... let's assume you put the G2 on the Luna analog io. Right click where it says none on the External Effect, and assign Luna Analog io.
Give the module a name, and save it for example in /SFP/Devices/Effects/Stereo/Others. Then you can load it from the right-click menu in insert spaces of mixer, multi fx etc.

Does it work like that?

Yes working now - but still quiet, I had to boost the gain on the G2 io's by 6+.

Thanks
