Can anyone tell me please how many synths(standard ones that come with the software 3.01) I can load to Pulsar 1 card with version 3 01
software, before I get "Max DSP load reached" message.
Thanks in advance .

Depends all on which ones you choose and how many voices you like to have on each one. Prisma for example eats up very much power, around 3 DSPs. But the EZsynth instead doesn´t even take one single DSP...
Your problem won´t be a question of RAM, only of the amount of DSPs installed to your system. I have 21 DSPs (1 Powerpulsar+1 Pulsar2), and I reached a point where I´m not going to complain any more.

for example with pulsar2 put 1 fm one (2 polyphony)+1miniscope (2 polyphony)+1 u know007 (2 polyphony)+1 big mixer
and know if you have "only" 4 dsp you are
at the max(but quality of sounds stay ok).
PS:John cooper has made a kind of review of synth performance you will find it on the 1st page. But anyway i think you need 256mo for all the rest(sequencer+plugs-in+ pulsar loves your ram for graphical ...)
Long life to my pulsar system yeepaaaa:)
