Ian sang and played (Gretsch & Gallien Kruger), I tracked (True P8 & Alesis HD24) and mixed (Crest into CreamWare VDAT).
The file is titled "houseboatcooper192" because I used a Cooper Time Cube (the garden hose delay) and the mp3 is at 192. Other FX include a Peavey VCL2 (compressor), a Drawmer 241 (compressor) and a Rane SP15 (parametric EQ).
We recorded it mainly to demo the song, but I'd also appreciate comments on the mix.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks,
John

Hey good song you fellas
Mix-wise, I find the plectrum sound and the actual distorted guitar sound are like separate things in the mix, and could be tweaked to be more homogenous, perhaps.
The vocals sound like they're coming through an sm58, which is ok but lacks the clarity in the top end.
All of which is fine, depending on what you're going for
