Hi,

I am going to try the demo version first of Guitar Amp Modeller from Celmo. If I like it, I will buy it.
So how limited is the demo? Is it easy to get running? Would it be as good as a Pod Pro (which I already use) or Amplitube (which I also have)? Is it as good as Guitar Rig (which I have tried the Demo and really like)? How does it compare to his free version?
Is it safe to pay by credit card on his site?

I have already asked these questions on another thread but have had no responses yet. Hence the double post. My apologies.

All comments would be very much appreciated.

it's an excellent plug. it is every bit as good as the pod, but you only get the amp sim. if you want effects, you must use additional plugins(think good fender or vox amp). yes, the credit card is safe.

By the way is Celmo's Amp only mono? Is there a stereo version?

and of course, you can use 2 GAM's

The GAM is very limited in terms of textures. It has its own sound and excells on clean and semi-overdriven tones.
