Im thinking to purchase a UAD-1 card, but i am afraid about compatibility and delay problems...
I own a Pulsar II with V3 soft running Cubase 5 r6 on Window 98se ,Pentium III 800mhz 512M of ram ,ASus CUSL2 motherboard. Can you help me in this matter with your experience?
I readed about delay compensation issues in UAudio site, and thats scared me.
What about sound quality? the effects are so fine as of hardware ones?
One friend of mine has a Dakota card running in a Pentium IV with window 2K ,does UAD works with P IV?
Thanks, and greetings from the south of the world....

In the software plugin world, you can't get anything better right now, and yeah the compressors are REALLY, REALLY good.

Now its win 2K too, and multiboard option in near future.

I see no problem withyour system config and thr UAD
