I personally know of several guitarists that have bought Pulsar, just to be able to use the GAM.
No, I really don't think so , I judge only with my ear and I don't care about the marketing . Pod is really good for heavy distorted sounds , Gam no.I want also to say that the POD has an immense amount of marketing behind it in magazines, the web, and hundreds of music shops, while the GAM and BAM are known exclusively in the Z and in Celmo’s web page; quite a difference! You may or may not agree with me, but marketing unfortunately does matter when you judge something, it does change your perception of things psychologically and you tend to judge something as better because it has a great amount of marketing behind it. This happens for instance, with Fender, I know quite a few new Fender guitars and bases that are bad, but people have a high respect for them because they are wildly known.
