Hi

I'm going to use Pulsar2 plus and Elektra to record an album and I was wondering which inputs/converters have the best quality..
I use SPL Channel One for vocals, guitars and bass (drums recorded in a REAL studio..) so should I go balanced analog from SPL to Pulsar or should I connect SPL->Behringer ADA 8000->ADAT to Pulsar? How about SPL->Luna Box->Elektra?

Is there a difference between ASIO1 and ASIO2 driver performance?

Thanks!

Welcome, and Praise the Chord

I'd keep it simple and take the balanced outs to Scope.

Asio-wise, 2 has direct monitoring and synchronisation.

Whoaah, more Scopers from Finland
No reason to use extra boxes between Scope and Channel One.

yes, the converters on the card are very nice. if you want to use the LINE in on the ada8000 because it's more convenient, that's fine, it'll sound great. i think the card's converters(analog in on the whip) are the ones I would choose in most cases, however.
