I have recently upgraded from W98SE to W2K ( with W2K service pack 2 installed ).
Both the W2K and Pulsar 3.0 upgrade appeared to go through flawlessly - with DEVICE MANAGER proclaiming that all devices and drivers are working "properly". ( I used the scopeWDM driver from W2K folder )
However, when i launch Pulsar 3.0 in W2K, I get the following 2 error messages.
1) HARDWARE VERSION 30 DETECTED. THIS HARDWARE REQUIRES A SOFTWARE UPDATE. PLEASE CONSULT THE INSTALLATION GUIDE.
and, a second window
2) COULD NOT GAIN ACCESS TO CREAMWARE HARDWARE.
It seems like a driver issue to me but I have tried every trick I know, but cannot fix this. I AM DESPERATE

( I have tried both upgrade to W2K and Pulsar 3.0 and clean install on both programs but neither is successful for me. I previously had Pulsar 3.0 working perfectly in W98 )
Could somebody please point me in the right direction.
thank-you in advance
cheers
