Re: Reaper DAW

Hi all, I am switching to reaper because I find it much better than what I was using previously (Cubase, then Studio One). It is really ugly but it sounds better (illusion ? levels are better, sound of the devices is the same, i do not have the issues I had with studio one (sequences recorded from ...

Re: sparC+ |#Spielraum

interesting !
Didn´t know this synth before.
Does that mean it will become a new SCOPE device delivered w/ an upcoming update ?

Looking like a Minimoog derivate w/ 6 OSCs, it might be somewhat comparable w/ the new Synapse synth ...

Re: Reason 12 is almost here!

The main issue w/ most of the software manufacturers is, they fail to see the importance of MIDI as it was and as it will be w/ MIDI 2.0 improvements, total recall of MIDI CC assignments on device basis, MIDI program change commands etc., etc.,- just because they are satisfied w/ the cohortes of so ...

Re: Reason 12 is almost here!

I´m not convinced ´cause I don´t understand why the simplest MIDI features aren´t implemented in Reason at all. MIDI program changes don´t work in Reason, not to forget to mention SysEx,- and since ReWire is abandoned, Reason Studios were unable to deliver an equivalent replacement w/ the Reason Rac...

Re: Windows 11

Not sure which you mean obsolete, the drivers or the drives themselves? The NVMe drivers only,- not the drives. The drivers were needed because the NVMe spec was created after Win7's initial gestation, and so the default Win7 installation doesn't support that protocol. I have not needed a driver fo...

Re: Windows 11

Also note that this means that you can install with an installation key to test, you do not actually have to purchase a key to test if Win11 will install. Thank you,- perfect ! 8) Obviously, the easiest way to do this is by using a different drive, or imaging your current drive to make it back up b...

Re: Windows 11

The key is an installation key, and it should be retail. See the following links for an explanation of the differences between RTM Retail and KMS Client product keys, and between activation and installation keys (installation keys do not activate, but allow installation). ... Re: Windows 11

I buy keys for typically $29 USD, I see them frequently advertised on tech sites and if you use them shortly after buying them they always work. Win11 Pro needs to be specified when purchasing (the keys are no longer interchangeable with Win10 as they were when Win11 launched). Here's an example on...

Re: 1 WEEK SPRING 'N' SCOPE OFFER INCLUDING SCOPE BETA 8!

Once, I signed up for the beta test team,- but up today this driver never became public beta.
So,- no new driver up to now and I´ve never seen a beta version.

I´d highly appreciate a new driver for Win 11 x64 !

Interesting,- thx for clarification !

Re: scope doesnt startup after windows 10 upgrade

I upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to 10. Now I dont get any sound because Scope/startup project isnt loaded, the speaker icon in the taskbar is crossed out. ... PS: it is scope 7, registry entry in run exists, it seems windows could'nt load scope.exe -s as background process. IIRC, this is a we...

My Lenovo W540 and 541 workstation laptops,- running Win10 and 11 Pro x64,- both use iGPU of Intel i7 mobile quad (Haswell) and a dedicated graphics card in harmony.
No issues up to now.

Thx,- this is interesting ´cause, like their other products, it will be available from Thomann (reseller) sooner or later. I´d wish there came a 4-octave version ! Re: Luna2 + Pulsar2 + A16 Ultra + Apogee Mini-Me, master/slave

I was hoping that the A16 could take sync down both Z-link and ADAT, as it's ultimately the same source! I didn´t say it´s impossible, instead just only cannot imagine. No need to try up to now and sice using a BNC master clock device. So, you´re the one,- and please post the result here. :) Bud

Re: Luna2 + Pulsar2 + A16 Ultra + Apogee Mini-Me, master/slave

I wonder, would it be possible to use one z-link (->Luna2) and one ADAT (->Pulsar2) connection on the A16U to use its 16 channels? This would then leave one ADAT connection on my Pulsar2 left, and another 8 channels available if I bought an UltraGain or something? And then ? - A16U is synced to wha...

Re: Luna2 + Pulsar2 + A16 Ultra + Apogee Mini-Me, master/slave

I have a system containing a Luna2 and Pulsar2 connected via STDM, with and A16Ultra connected via ADAT, giving me 16+2+2 channels. I've been offered an Apogee Mini-Me (2003), which is a Mic preamp and ADC with spdif out. I would like to use this with one of the SPDIF ins on the Scope cards to give...

Should work w/ any laptop offering at least 1 true (up to 40GB/sec) Thunderbolt port.

Not cheap,- but might be interesting for XITE-1 users.
