Heres a stereo guitar wav, attack on left, sustain ( 1+ve ) on right. I had zip luck with STS or Mod 3 - not sure how to play a wav file in them - too many years since I played with those.
I read that MOD4 had a wavsplitter though - what does that do ?

Re: Velocity Switched Lead Axe
Aftertouch is a good one if your keyboard had it. Dynamic, and leaves the mod / pitch wheels free for thier original functions

Re: Velocity Switched Lead Axe
Why not cut the sample ( or whatever sound sourse) in two - one with attack portion and one with feedback only, then feed each one into a seperate playback device. Make the attack 'source' device only work on velocity values 0 - 64 and the sustain portion device only work on velocity values 65-128 ...

Re: Scope works fine but no other applications do
Yes thank you all. I finally resolved my problem, actually when I found some old files I had set up. That takes care of sequencers, VSTis, DXis, etc. but what about a standalone version not running through a sequencer. How would you map that?
Depends what you mean by 'standalone' - if for example ...

Re: No 64 bit REWIRE
Well yeah if its coz the rewire forces you to run 32 bit apps - then those 32 bit apps wont see all the ram.
This 64 bit thang is only as strong as the weakest link in the audio chain, so the wait will always be on for those dragging the chain

Re: V5 drivers
My wish would be to be able tu still run well proven scope v4 but still have the latest asio driver. Just that. And yes I do think that drivers (and drivers only!) should be free.
:)
I agree with you up to a point. If there is a reason for Scope 4 users to need the Scope 5 drivers then yes ...

And even if they do after 5.1 I'll still be running the cards till they burn out and supporting S|C coz of the value I've already got over the years....siriusbliss wrote: SC could've told all the old PCI card owners to go jump but they didn't.

Re: V5 drivers
If your setup is working, why do you need new drivers ? If you're referring to 64bit, they're not released yet.

Re: ScopeRise Now Live Needs Subscribers
Yeah I like the way he emphasises that Modular is unique in a lot of ways especially you would not be able to do the rain / lightning randomness on a prefab synth coz they only have 2 LFO's etc.
When I first played that mp3 I turned up the vol full to hear the rain..... then 3/4 the way through the ...

Re: Scope works fine but no other applications do
Well if you connect a midi keyboard to a scope midi input, then in scope project you can connect Scope MIDI Source to Sequencer MIDI Dest then run cubase, the midi should transmit to a cubase track where you select scope midi as it's input. In your diagram these 2 connectors have the STM in the ...
