Re: Any way to save presets in modular 2
OK, thanks a lot. That works so far. I.e. I can create an interface module for each partial, use the same path, but different keys and get my values for each envelope curve. Nice. Netx question: how can I connect the value with the EG? Does is EG (1 for each partial) need a new new pad to connect to...

Re: with 6 inputs crackles at higher sample rates
I tried to put the card into every possible slot, result was always the same. I got hands on a different ADAT interface. Result: connected the new device with the A16: no crackles inkl. 48k connected the new device to Xite-1: no crackles at 44.1k, some at 48k (every 10 sec when the CPU is busy, othe...

Re: Any way to save presets in modular 2
Enter the filename (including extension) of the pep script into the modules array of the ModuleLoader ...It's best in this instance to have the array size set to 1. Set 'load' to 0 in the ModuleLoader Pad List. This will load the module and if you re-select the ModuleLoader the Pad List will update...

Re: Scope SDK version
Seems to be the same. Shouldn't it be something like 5? And does the moduleloader work for you (like accepting pep files)?faxinadu wrote:3.0 (pre-release)

Scope SDK version
What is actually the latest version? Mine says: version 3 (preliminary). Anything newer available (I have the feeling, a lot of things are not not working as they are supposed to do).

Re: Any way to save presets in modular 2
You need to take them out of the ModuleLoader - After loading one of the scripts fold the ModuleLoader. In the Project Explorer if you now look into the folded ModuleLoader you'll see the script. If you right-click on it you'll get read & write options. If you assign GOs and attributes to it an...

Re: Any way to save presets in modular 2
Can someone please direct me to a sample or some doc, to show how to create a module, which can write and read data from a file? IniIntInterface / IniStringInterface can do what you ask And where can I find those? (Sorry, but I'm really a beginner here) Update: After searching the forum, I found th...

Re: Any way to save presets in modular 2
I've written a program to get the envelopes of a wave over time. I just want to create/superimpose these data to the free env in modular to control the amplitude over time for each harmonic. FreeEnv seems to be a good start and your advice is also valid. Let me check, which is more appropriate/conve...

Re: Any way to save presets in modular 2
What if I only want to create a preset of some parts only? Not the whole module? How can I achieve that (if it's possible at all).

Any way to save presets in modular 2
I'm building an additive synth with modular 2 (or at least try). I'm wondering, the settings of some modules (ADSR and VCA) can be saved as preset in an external file?

Re: MIDI sequencer / file playback
I think I got it: a DAW between seq out and seq in will do the trick. Any other means?

MIDI sequencer / file playback
I'm trying to use the midi-sequencer and I can't find no way to use the sequencer to re-play the notes or to play external midi files. Any advice is welcome.

Re: what is the best (quality-wise) setting for playing a fi
I had a look at odeus asio-link and and it seems to do the job. So there is a way to have windows seeing a wdm channel and scope an asio channel. The asio-link just connects both.

Re: what is the best (quality-wise) setting for playing a fi
I believe VLC doesn't output anything else but thru wave source in Scope. You have a 24bit wave source, I never tried with VLC. What is your problem ? No sound ? Crackling ? Sound only on wave source. This produces crackles and distortion. No good. Does that mean, only ASIO is usable? So the only w...

what is the best (quality-wise) setting for playing a file
I'd like to find a setting, where I can get the best quality (at least 48K and 24 Bit) playbak for a wav file using VLC. Wave Source doesn't seem reliable enough, any other means?

Re: with 6 inputs crackles at higher sample rates
OK, I got my device back - checked by Gary, who found no problems. I stripped my PC down to nothing but the PCIe XITE interface and still seeing the 3 problems: - no sync on ADAT when A16 is master - crackles on ADAT A, when S/R is > 32k - crackles on ADAT B, when s/R is > 44.1K I contaced ferrofish...
