Re: some issues with the ZARG SYNTH installations ...
no STS based functions in 64bit. period. nothing to be done without a complete rebuild of the samplers for 64bit and then John would need to rebuild his synth with the new smaple player. ir's not going to happen in the short term. it's a surprise to everybody. that's my guess. Things that don't wor...

Re: Scope NSA Offer 2: All Zarg synths (Solaris, Quantum Wav
... The number of voices depends on what you load on your patch. The Solaris can load a different number of different oscillators, filters, can load modular patches, so it's not possible to have a certain polyphony with it. ... So, some time ago I´ve read somewhere about Solaris´ limit is 3 voices ...

Re: Solaris re-activation
Well the ZARG_Q-Wave.zip archive contains many *.sys and *.vxd files, and the same for ZARG_Solaris v5_0.zip except only JBCtrlSh.sys and JBCtrlSh.vxd. Since these are zip archives and not installers I just extracted the archives in to the SCOPE install directory and voilà: I have vxd files, sys fil...

Re: How many XITE-1's out there?
Hello everyone, I don't feel like counting every post in this thread. But I wanted to know if anyone knew of a ballpark number of how many Xites are out there, being used preferably. I'm trying to crunch some numbers about seeing about how viable a potential kickstarter campaign would be as a potent...

Re: Scope NSA Offer 2: All Zarg synths (Solaris, Quantum Wav
FYI John Bowen informed me that it's not possible to use the Red Dwarf with out the RD modules. So they will be included in the deal and he will send them to Sonic Core!. A legend and seems like a real nice guy ..support him! Great to know! I was wondering why RD was asking for so many devices all ...

Re: Solaris re-activation
did you get the 64bit files from here? ftp://sonic-core.net/software/scope5/plugins/_64%20Bit_OS_Versions/Zarg/ i didn't link to those in the first batch of orders, sorry.... vxd files should NOT be used in win7/win8. those os require sys files, but the system calls them vxd.... I downloaded the sy...

Re: Solaris re-activation
Well playing around with the Zarg plugins on my Xite-1, I've encountered a couple of bugs regarding Solaris (also I got a BSoD running Ambientv3 but I was loading presets quite quickly so I'll let that one go) - I'm getting this weird dsp error message : "Can't find DSP file JBCtrlSh VxD - Plea...

Re: Scope NSA Offer 2: All Zarg synths (Solaris, Quantum Wav
Of course, my initial post might have seemed like some kind of rant, but I'm really grateful to finally be able to play a Waldorf Wave (virtual) at least once in my life! :P (ordered of course) Of course I am serious however of offering my €€€ and/or beta testing, bug tracking services if they are w...

Scope NSA Offer 2: All Zarg synths (Solaris, Quantum Wave..)
So well this is a surprise... If anyone @ S|C is reading, I would gladly pay x4 if these devices were Xite-1 optimized (ie. can run with more than 2-3 voices).

Re: Solaris and the XITE-1 @96k
neuromantik i suggest you and others who want better 96khz compatibility with XITE-1 write Sonic Core and request it so they know a large enough group of customers want or need it. I work at 96khz and i wrote them years ago, Ralf Dressel at Sonic Core confirmed that some synths benifit from 96khz s...

Re: Solaris and the XITE-1 @96k
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but has any progress been made regarding the 96kHz support on the Xite? I'm not complaining that much, but I've been wanting to generate some content using ModIV @ 96kHz (and compare it to my G2 which runs @ 96kHz by default flawlessly) but I've been getting DSP err...

Re: Synth pre-amp + Xite?
synths are almost all at the consumer -10(-20)db level, not the +4db level of a balanced line like the A16 Ultra. you can add gain with a mixer, or just add gain in Scope. even though the level is a bit low, you'll still get a more than adequate conversion. the A16 Ultra has dip switches on the bac...

Synth pre-amp + Xite?
Hello everyone... I'm currently playing with some old hw synths on loan (consider it a prolonged testing phase), a dw8000 & jd800 to be precise.. Anyhow I'm not a huge electronics expert but the outputs don't seem that hot to me, at least when I connect the latter two directly to my a16 which is...

Re: Waldorf Rocket
Thanks for the feedback By any chance, are you still selling your blackbox2 kit (and does it work with Xite)?
The only analog I have is a PEK, and it's not what I would call a real analog, so I think the Rocket might be an interesting addition, and it's cheap!!

Waldorf Rocket
Hello I'm thinking of buying a Rocket because the filter sounds great, it's cheap, and I think it will play nice with my Xite :) So before plunging I wanted to get some advice on what anyone might think of it (I'm buying it more as a standalone filter like the 4pole rather than "another" s...

Soon, soon wont cut it anymore. As my mother would have said, Patience is a Virtue... It's a thin line between overstretching yourself when money is tight, and pushing money into development in order to speed up the dev-test-release process. It's up to us all to stay committed, and to keep a ...
