Re: Tiny 2 channel mixer?
When updating these devices, I used SpaceF's Mixer3 along side them to match VU levels at various optimal points (e.g. -3, -6, -12db).
I finally adjusted the output levels to match -3db input (from one input channel) at the outputs (Output set to 0db and approximating -3db and reflecting the Mix3 ...

Re: Tiny 2 channel mixer?
Hi Bud,
Yes I have seen these issues too, just haven't got around t investigating them as yet.
I will have a closer look when I get a chance.
The gains are definitely not right!
The graphic thing happened to me as well, but only once.

Re: Small Mixer Family
Is "phase lock" testing possible without using SDK ?
If yes,- how ?
Bud, I am sure it is possible to check phase in both scope and scope sdk.
I am no expert on phase measurement, but I think you can do it using similar setup to that shown below.
I just fed the same signal to all inputs and then ...

Re: Tiny 2 channel mixer?
I have run all mixers and tested most functions (controls, inserts, channel disabling, midi, presets, etc).valis wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 8:46 am How tested are the current versions given above (Mix2)? I'll check phase.
I don't think I missed anything but you never know.
Look forward to phase checking.
Thanks

Re: Small Mixer Family
Hey Bud,
I am not sure about phase locking.
You have peaked my interest though and I might look into phasing to see what can be done.
I personally have never had an issue.
A lot of my mixing and mastering is now done in Cubase/Wavelab so I can use Izotope, Sonible and NuGen tools.

Unknown at this stage.
Haven't tested them for phase locking, sorry.
I am about to release the first versions, maybe someone can check on phase issues?

Re: Tiny 2 channel mixer?
Thank you Maus,- these look great !
Would it be possible to get 3 or 4 stereo input channels ?
best,- Bud
Hey Bud,
I am building a family of these mixers 2, 4, 8 ,12 and 16 stereo channel models.
Most are done, still working on the 16 channel version.
Also have not really tested them as yet ...

Re: Tiny 2 channel mixer?
All I want is two stereo inputs and one stereo output.

I have been working for a while now to produce mixers with minimum screen footprints,
I am in the middle of developing a number of mixers to meet this need ...

Zlink Cables
Hi There,
I have never used ZLink on my XITE-1/Creamware A16 setup, but I would now like to try these types of connections, but I cannot find a supplier for these cables!
Are they obsolete?
Do they have an alternate name?
Can anyone suggest where I might be able to purchase a couple of leads ...

Re: Xite-1 Word Clock
It is true that the XITE clock in(slave) is faulty.
Yes, I was able to get a stable clock via ADAT B as long as XITE-1 was the master.
For some reason ADAT A crackled constantly with this setup.
It was completely unstable with XITE-1 as slave.
The ADAT A issue has resolved itself now I have AES ...

Re: Xite-1 Word Clock
Hay Bud,
AES/EBU sync was the answer!
I have it working with the RayDAT as master and XITE as slave.
I am also slaving the A16 to RayDAT via BNC seems very stable now.
This setup also cured my issue with ADAT A crackling its brains out.
Thanks a lot for your input, I had not thought of using AES/EBU ...

Re: Xite-1 Word Clock
Thanks Valis,
I missed the BNC/wordclock posts also I will check ScopeRise.
I feared it was an known issue with Xite and Scope 7.
Not a biggy given it works with ADAT 2 though,
I will check (again) the ADAT 1 TOS cable. Actually on occasions it has worked, so that does point to a poor connection ...
