Hopefully they will repeat this discount program when full OSX macbook prosupport is available. Damn haven't used creamware scope card for 3 years now.

Thanks Tom for this rather marketing techno story, it gives me some inside of how OS manufacturers think in this industry.

That way I could use macosx for design purposes and regular stuff and when booting into windows XP, I could use it as my DAW.

Could you specify this? Is it because creamware doesn't have OSX universal binary support for SFP ?

I think this is an extremely bad idea in terms of marketing. why? the "geek" glow shines all around it. for us we know what 4, 6 and 15 will mean to our music. But when I was unknown with the system, it just tells me how many procs are on board and I still have to guess ...

Why don't you have the SP1 Xp installed ? It really improved the performance of my DAW. I have a similair config as yours, even the wonderfull Matrox G550, but I have an older driver installed for the card. Also I have the DVI card version because of my TFT screen.

Hello all, I have had the same problem a few days ago. If your running SX and try to record in Soundforge, try to set SX on 30fps and do this in Soundforge as well. I think its a sync problem in the newer version of soundforge, but I am not sure. :sad:
