Midi Drum Sequencer for pulsar (MDS)

Post by alfonso »

File

Type: midi sequencer

Pulsar Version: Modular 2

do you need a simple midi drum sequencer to play patterns & songs to an akai drum kit with a sampleplayer inside pulsar or to any midi connected synth? It can be also an eight midi note matrix seq, it depends how do you transpose each one of the midi outs of the mds8 module.
after being transposed they are all midi merged with the midi clock out.
this is a totally midi device that provides only signal from midi out, eight free note sequencer data and its own clock.
very useful to hear drum kits without opening ext. sequencers or hitting keyboards.
the only one preset fits a gm drum kit i have, but with the transposing function you can store your own.

enjoy, alfonso d'amora

Hi Alfonso!!!
Great device again, but would you explain a bit how can i use it to, let's say, configure it to play different notes for my drum patch?

BTW, i'm using your synth guitar a lot! This one's pretty coOl!

as the mds8 outputs all it's midi outs to note#60, just transpose the keyzone modules (there is one for every output) up or down to reach the note number you need.
