Re: Phaser & Flangers
As 1st owner, I had ´em (and many more !) all in hardware since the 70s and sold about 2004/ 2005.SamT wrote:Wish List MXR Flanger (117), preferably in a modular version.

It´s not essential modelling these hardware devices above exactly,- you get that sound also from other vintage gear, say MXR Flanger/Doubler (19"), Mutron phasors, EH Electric Mistress Deluxe uses the same BBD chip than MXR 117, or the old Roland rack series of analog FX and so on.
You´d need an exact DSP replication of the SAD1024A BBD IC for the flanger p.ex..
For the phaser I´d look into a Mutron Phasor II (which is only one base unit of the Mutron Bi-Phaser which is 2) as you only need the sound 1st.
Once I bought a SF-010 http://www.modezero.com/vesta-sf010.htm using Panasonic MN3007 for cheap and it sounds awesome.
The Panasonic MN3007 can replace SADs in MXR when modifying the socket.
It´s that good, probably better w/ less noise,- and offers 1024 stages too.
