Scope 5.1 comes with a few extra devices since 4.5, so you'd get more than just the updated drivers.

and it's not just drivers anyway. it's a new program as well. it's the program that is really what the fee is for.

Well, DAS released a MasterIT lite, so that should fix that particular Microsoft KB issue. So no longer a sticking point when I or others decide to go to Win10.jksuperstar wrote:Dante, what issues do you have with scope on win8.1? Yes, you are maybe right with reasons to buy Scope 5.1 upgrade, but still there is poor Pulsar I card latency (13ms).
In case I want to use it just as a sound-card, I am definitely able to buy similar output quality for less than 150EUR.
Initially I had just idea to re-use my old Pulsar I card (because of its good output in comparison to on-board Realtek) for free with 64-bit Windows, which is not possible.

Sorry for crashing in - - I got the NSA sale for Scope 5.1 a year or two ago for my PCI card Scope Pro @ 99 euros and have 5.1 along with lots of other synths in that sale - There are more goodies available to my PCI cards than my Xite-1 - Maybe S|C could offer another sale for plugins for the Xite-1
