What's the best free vocoder options?

Post by Shroomz~> »

Hi all,

We've got CW's Vocodizer on the main DAW, but I'm looking for a free vocoder to use on our 2nd Scope system here. Anyone got any suggestions as to what the options are & what would be a good option to check out first?

Thanks in advance!

Btw, modular vocoder patches are no good to me since we don't have a mod2 or 3 license on the 2nd system.

hi there,

have a look at this ... a simple but efficient talk box ...

if you wanna use it as a "standard" vocoder, it's possible, just connect your synth to the instrument input and your vocal mike to Vox / analyse. But all combinations are possible ...

ROFL, I've just found out that we do indeed have Creamware's Vocodizer on the 2nd system here (I just hadn't found it  ), so I don't need a free option after all... :)
